Just my 2 fair, but allow me to make a couple of observations.įirst, while I, myself, have not had any problems with the Flex/Flex 2 bands. While I can certainly understand being frustrated, I'm not sure that I'd be looking to jump ship due to needing to replace the band (at 3 for $10, less than the cost of a Starbucks latte) every few months. I know a number of folks here in the forums miss that. Something you may consider before switching platforms, if you participate in challenges, activity from other platforms (like Apple Health, Garmin, etc.) do not contribute to Fitbit challenges. that would've addressed the problem with your Flex. Also, there is a product called BitBelt Jr. I have a Fitbit One and have replaced many of its clips, but the tracker continues to while I can understand being frustrated, I'm not sure how posting the exact same message three times within fourteen minutes is going to make it more convincing.

I don't think it's unreasonable to change the band periodically. My wife has a watch that is a gift from her sister it's at least 18 years old, but it has had more bands than I can remember.

If find that bands, in general, exhibit more wear and tear than the tracker itself so I'd be changing them more frequently. If you look in Amazon there are some options for as little as $10 for three bands. With Fitbit's introduction of replaceable bands there are many aftermarket options. In his case, it was an issue with the band (not the tracker). Myself, have not had the Charge 2 band (nor any of my wrist trackers) pop off after years of use, but I have a friend whose band has popped off.
